ABOUT US The Indian Association of Soil and Water Conservationists (IASWC) was established in 1972 at Dehradun, as a non-profit making body to encourage natural resource management professionals to assemble on a platform that promotes scientific land use. The publication of the journal started in 1973 and the 37(3) issue has already been published in 2009. The IASWC has 1661 life members, nearly 80 Institutional members and 22 ordinary members. The IASWC, besides publishing the journal, also holds national and regional conferences. Since 2005 the IASWC has held a regional conference at Udhagamandalam for Southern India in 2005, for the Western region in 2006 at Pune, for the Northern India in 2007 at Chandigarh and for Central India in 2009 at Agra. The next regional conference will be held in 2010 at Bhubaneswar for N-E region. The journal published by the IASWC is peer reviewed and is critically edited for its quality and contents. |
